The ICAI-Bhubaneswar Chapter has successfully organized a 2- Day Workshop on “Symposium of Ind – AS” on 26th – 27th November, 2022 at CMA Bhawan, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar . CMA Niranjan Mishra, Council Member and the then Chairman, Committee of Cost Management for Public and Government Services, ICAI inaugurated the workshop as “Chief Guest” in the presence of CMA B K Dash, GGM (F) & ED (F) I/c, NALCO Ltd. , CMA Ramsankar Mishra, Sr . Manager (Finance), MRPL , CMA Santanu Kumar Rout, Chairman of the Chapter , CMA Saktidhar Singh, Past Chairman & Chairman, PD Committee of the Chapter and CMA Surya Narayan Tripathy, Secretary of the Chapter.
CMA B K Dash, GGM (F) & ED (F) I/c, NALCO Ltd. delivered details on Ind – AS 02 : Inventory, Ind – AS 16 : Property Plant & Equipment and Ind – AS 37 : Contingent Liabilities and CMA Ramasankar Mishra, Sr . Manager (Finance), MRPL delivered details on Indian Accounting Standard (Ind – AS) and Convergence with IFRS, Ind – AS 01: Presentation of Financial Statement, Ind – AS 24 : Related Party Transaction) and Ind – AS 34 : Interim Financial Report. About 70 participants consisting of Practicing CMAs, Finance personnel’s form various Corporate sectors and Young CMAs actively participated in the said 2-day workshop.
